When building my own power supply, I combined two small CAPS to make a
larger one.

You could buy a LARGE one, but I never found a reason why I should spend
$70CDN on a LARGE cap, when I could spend $24CDN for two smaller one.
When the two smaller ones are combined the unit has the same uF that I
needed.

(Btw, I forget if that was in series or parallel, it's been a few
months)

I forgot to mention that MECI also has nice big electrolytic caps for
your
power supply at cheap prices.

Randy (watch your test indicator point while you're jogging your CNC
around to indicate the vise. Mine sprang off when I jogged in the wrong
direction and landed somewhere over near the corner of the garage and I
have not found it yet. Thank goodness those things have overload
protection...)
