Bill,

Yep, just as you said there's a small locking snap ring down inside
the back of the connector. They certainly didn't make this an easy
one to take apart. My snap ring got a little twisted in the removal,
but is salvageable.

Now that I have it apart, I can see someone else has been through
this same exercise. The solder joints are pretty sloppy, I'm sure
they didn't come from the Haas factory that way.

Wow, I can only imagine how nasty your 50 pin connector must have
been!!! This one with only 11 pins won't be fun, even with it on the
bench.
