There is a fair amount of info on using Vector with tool comp on the Vector
support forum. As has been pointed out you have to use a controller that
handles the G40 - G42 codes. You then have to setup a tool table on the
control. From Vector you have to be using a NC object that has been
configured for a control that supports these codes. The EMC NC is setup for
it. You can then select G40 - G42 on the NC Contour menu and when you
generate the code it will use an offset. You do have to go back into the
code and specify the proper tool designation for the tool table you have
loaded on your controller. You also have to make sure you have proper lead
in and lead out to conform to what the controller is expecting. All in all a
complex subject. I just choose to offset the paths myself and not deal with
it.
