speed machining software/hardware systems based on expensive DSP motion
controllers. As of yet the authors of the 2 systems have not moved over to
Windoze. Hopefully someday they will. These machines work just fine with
DOS networking running in the background, so it's of little concern to me.
OTOH...My Ahha controlled lathes are there just because nobody else
produces a lathe hardware/software solution that's affordable, DOS or
otherwise. Lathe work does not require high speed processing, so paying
megabucks for Open CNC or Camsoft just didn't seem necessary. Unfortunatly,
Ahha is the one program that can be unstable with networking...
