It doesn't drive the machine but I have just started using Dolphin CAD/CAM
(http://dolphin-systems.co.uk/) and I like it so far for 2.5D work (mill and
lathe in the same package). List member Bill Griffin
(http://www.grifftek.com/) distributes it in the US.

Had been using BobCAD/CAM, didn't like it ....
