A standard 300VA toroid measures 5" O/D * 2" I/D *1.125" H. From the description I would say these could well be 400VA (88*4.5=396VA). May be there is a 4 missing from the VA rating and they rate at 420VA withIR^2 losses that would give you 88*4.5 or 2*44*4.5 out.

Thanks for the Tips guys.... That low amperage stuff just does not seem
right. I hope to locate the real paper work on these. Hopefully they
will have better looking numbers. I thought that when I bought them they
"claimed" 9 amps on the 44volt legs, and 4,5 amps on the 88v side...........
I think this thing is wound as shown below:

(I should frame that for the amount of time it took even After swiping the bulk of it from Bills message ! Thanks Bill !)
I wonder what you would use such a heavy and large transformer for if it only put out less than 1/2 an amp ?? Sounds like a waste of copper to me !
If I can get some bigger numbers, maybe I can use these, otherwise they are starting to look like landfill material. (Ok, recycleable material.....) Maybe they are 2000VA !??
Thanks,
Chris L
