You're forgetting about IndexerLPT and the G Code Controller front
end... NO external box, and extremely smooth pulse stream.

Mach1 is gaining a lot of supporters. I think that I can safely
say that it
is the only Windows based controller package that gives you a
smooth pulse
stream without using an external controller box. If you want a
Windows based
controller the current choices are Mach1, Flashcut, and
DeskCNC/DeskWinNC
(probably forgetting something, but these seem to be the most
popular).
