If you can get hold of a book called "Spindles" in the Workshop Practice series #27 ISDN: 1-85486-149-2 why not make your own. I did and it works very well.

Just finishing up my CNC mill, and turning attention to my lathe.

Anybody know where I could source a prefab spindle with bearings? I
want to make a tool post grinder (because the purchased ones are too
bloody expensive!)..
