Bob,

It must have been neat to see that plant work.

I think I understand the basics, but if I needed a 230 volt, 200uF cap
would I be crasy to try to roll my own ?

I'm having a hard time finding caps for the EDM power supply that can
handle the frequency needed. Seems paper is the way to go.

20uS pulse, 50% duty cycle

I thought about using motor run capacitors, metalized film, but even
those are hard to find in large sizes.

And I'm seeing a big coorellation between an inductor and a CAP.
Think I'll spend some time with my Art of Electronics this weekend.
