Just to be clear at the top, I'm a UNIX sysadmin who had absolutely no
problem getting EMC up and running, but paid real cash for CNCPro anyway
and am very happy I did.
Having said that, there are a few things that I'd like to see in some future
version.
1. Incremental jog setting remembered.
2. Jog type remembered.
3. Line editor
4. Shell to DOS
5. Sorted file list
6. Coordinates NOT reset to zero after a jog.
Alan
P.S. I've added a paddle to my system, as the keyboard is a bit far away.
Simply sends keystrokes through the serial port, via a TSR to "massage" the
keystrokes. Works great !
Arrow keys, PgUp PgDn, Enter, BIG Escape, large and small incremental jog
button. ( Sends I 1 ENTER or I .1 ENTER )
I'll probably add an F and an S key to the board as well .. they seem to be
coming in handy.
