--Hi Bob. I have been using the hobby cnc board for about 2 years
now. For my application I wanted the full step power and no current
reduction as offered on the higher priced boards. I have a small
machine with ballscrews and I was afraid that with microstep/current
reduction it might backdrive the motor and lose steps. It has been a
great board(for me)and am now building a bigger machine using the
same board layout with an extra power fet circut for 5 amps per
phase. Pictures of my settup are in the "photos", Rick-o-matic
folder. It will also be back at the NAMES show again this year.
