About two years ago I talked to a programmer who had written the
cutter comp algorythms for a commercial CAM package. He agreed with me that
a good comp routine with infinite look-ahead was quite involved. I worked
on one in spare time for about two years and never did get it right.
Neither have several machine tool control builders, though it hasn't stopped
them from peddling it.

Cutter comp would be a nice addition to CNCPro. I wouldn't want to
pay what it would be worth to have a properly functioning comp routine
though. Anybody have the source code they could share with Doug Yeager?
