LEAD SCREW"

Hi, members,
I need oppinions about using standard screws instead of ball screws
for small CNC machine:
I can buy one meter long screw, 20 mm diameter with four triangular
tooths per milimeter. (I think it's used in wood constructions).
It seems to me usefull as axis leading screw.
HOW MUCH IT CAN BE PRECISE ?
