I don't know the exact design of the Westwind centrifugal collet. I do
know that it has limited
holding capacity, and just barely works for circuit board drills at
23,000 RPM. I tried routing
with it, and it allowed the tool to slip. It apparently has 2 plates
with 1/8" holes in it to
pre-center the tool before spinning up the motor.
