Sherline quick change - the problem

Guys, the problem is that the morse taper is not self releasing. All
of your ideas are great until you try to take the tool out, it won't
come out without a tap.

All tool changing machines use self releasing tapers NMTB 30-40-50
and some other styles. Until you tackle this basic problem you can't
move on.

Need a custom spindle with a different taper. There are already
standard sizes that would work and are already used on other mini
machines.

Then it would be easy to design and build an ATC for your Sherline
which would be pretty cool.
