Hi All:
When I was at Sherline for a visit, I saw a spindle that Joe Martin had
made up for ER 16 collets.
I don't know if he was just toying with it, or if he offers it as an option.
That taper is 8 deg per side and is self releasing.
Maybe Joe will still offer the spindle for those who are interested.
Worth a phone call to Sherline.
If he says NO, making up a new spindle is not rocket science.
A chunk of Leadloy and half a day should set you right.
