I second that emotion--any pointers would be most welcome. My thought
was to look at the STG code together with the hardware manual plus
the corresponding manual for the PowerDAQ card I've got and ...

Since the cards aren't very different, presumably the drivers
shouldn't be very different. Continuous functions map open sets to
open sets--right?
