Progress has been made!! The addition of a servo motor to a dividing
head seems to be working fine. Thanks for the tips from Tim,Paul and
Ray. Tim and Ray: Adding the A after XYZ and adding the 0 on the line
under along with cutting and pasting the axis info worked great. I have
been playing around with the speeds to get the top RPM on the A axis, if
the X is programmed for a short lead the A cannot spin fast enough to
keep up and it gives a following error. Paul: I am running BDI 2.16 so
it still has the references to PARPORT_IO_ADDRESS, not a problem on my
end and it seems to be running good. The next problem I have is, how do
you jog the A axis? Somewhere was a reference to using HOME and END keys
but HOME is used in this case to zero the axises and END doesn't do
anything. Thanks again fellows. Ed.
