Huh? How would the receiver move the cutter? These things barely can
move the pointer
on a dial without adding amplifiers. Why not have the tracer probe move
a shaft encoder or
swing a vane in front of proportional photosensors. That could drive a
servo amplifier or
a fairly simple circuit to drive a step/direction stepper driver.
