Help

I am converting my bridgeport r2e3 to run the control circuit on single phase, but maintaining the 3 phase motor running on a statis converter. Does anyone know what the purpose of the large transformer at the top right side of the power enclosure is for. All of the other transformers have been easily converted to single phase, but this transformer just has 3 phase supplies in and 3 phase supplies out. There are no neutrals. Forgive my poor understanding of transformers, but I thought you needed a live and neutral into a transformer to generate a field etc...
