No, If I am hearing you correctly, Those Feedrate settings in "GENERAL"
represents the following: When and only when you do a "POINT" move, and
the rate is set to Feedrate, The setting acts as the "default" for that
move. That is the dropdown where you choose between rapid and feedrate.

Max Arc Feedrate is used to limit G02 and G03 feedrates to the setting
you type in. In other words, It will allow a machine to have a *maximum
limit* for Arcs. The Feedrate in the toolpath will be honored unless the
rate you type in is exceeded. Many find that Flashcut will actually run
thru mixed geometry when G02-03 Arcs are not used and short line
segments are instead. There is very little noticable difference, but it
depends on what you are doing. If no G02-03

No, You might be thinking harder than you really have to.... It is much
simpler.... Those max rates in the General section are simply speed
"limits". One is the default for when you do a feedrate POINT move from
the Point menu, the other a limit on how fast Arcs can run no matter
what the FXX.X setting in the Toolpath.

Point Feedrate - Rotary is the same... How fast you want it to turn when
doing a point move.

The one setting most are confused on is the Continous Contouring
Feedrate setting.... That you should start with at the same spot as your
Max feedrate setting per axis, then move it up for smoother continous
motion, getting it as high as possible while still maintaining position.
It in effect does the math necessary to decide whether to ramp or not
betwenn line segments.
