There is a selector pin on each drive that makes it a primary or slave
device. In most drives it is a 4 pin configuration. Change it from what it
is to the second option and it should work ok. Like the other suggestion do
a search on the drive manufacturer for documentation. Otherwise just
changing the the pin slector will not harm anything. You may have to update
your cmos to tell the machine you have a second hard drive. Windows,
however should see it if it is installed properly.
