Hi
I have never made a digitizer probe but would like to at some point
MaxNc and I think there is another one that makes a reasonably priced one I
dont know how theres works. I had imaged building a shaft that is pressed
through a nylon ball. The ball could have a very light spring holding it in
place. The shaft that extends past the nylon ball at the top could then be a
flange. The flange could have a hall sensor wired to a simple thresh hold
type circuit (741 IC and trimmer pot). This would allow for movement in all
directions. If the device only works in the vertical direction there will be
problems when you probe a steep angel or edge that the probe hits on the
side. My 2 cents.
