I have a converted Tree Journeyman 300 (about 1985) and am happy
with it. Solid as a rock and very repeatable. I used Gecko 320's and
mach1. You might consider the rutex servo amp drivers. On runout I'm
surprised. Any "real" mill should have zero. Either they bent
something or else it was a bad rebuild. I don't have a clue.
Watch out for tooling. If this is kwik switch 300 pieces can be real
expensive but it works real well. A slow tool change takes 45
seconds.
