Slightly OT iisr-cnc.com, ConfideNCe CNC Simulator company.

My thoughts on iisr-cnc.com, the company that offers ConfideNCe CNC
Simulator

I've actually never was able to use their software. So I can't comment on
their software, I am commenting on the company and it's business practices.

1.) They took a very long time to get an activation code. I asked on a
Thursday, didn't get a serial till Wednesday of the next week. Since they
didn't send me an email promptly enough I uninstalled their software.

2.) I finally installed the software again, but guess what? Their software
seemed to have generated a new "UNIQUE" computer code, which required me to
get yet another serial. I don't recall a warning anywhere, "uninstalling
this software will require a new activation code upon reinstallation" - at
least have a visible warning somewhere.

First I thought, okay... that fair enough. They need to protect their
software. So I sent an email to the person that sends out activation codes.
I sent it Friday 28 of Feb, @ ~1:30EST. Now I know that they are in Israel,
but it's been nearly a week! I have yet to get even an email saying YES or
NO that they will give me a new activation code. I don't expect one after
posting this, but hey, I'm just warning whoever might want to purchase this
software.

This company isn't going to get my business. They're support is, well,
nonexistent. I can't believe that they expect people to pay for their
service? What can their simulation software do that www.cncsimulator.com
cannot? I really don't like companies that ignore its end users, and this
company seems to be doing just that - ignoring its potential customers.

3.) They also have a bad habit of sending emails asking to see if the email
has been read, and also flagging importance settings to HIGH, IMHO very
arrogant. It's a feature that is overly abused. I believe its proper net
etiquette, if you're sending within your company these flags, but not to
potential customers, customers or external associates.

4.) They don't take long to send you an email if you want to purchase it,
but when you try to test their software to see what they can offer, they
seem to not care about you. Again, IMHO, they are operating a very poor
business.

I'm not saying boycott iisr-cnc.com. I'm just saying BUYER BEWARE. If my
experience is any indication, be prepared to be ignored if you have issues.

Disclaimer, these are my views and my views alone. I was just very unhappy
with IISR-CNC, so I'm sharing my experience with others, in the hopes of
making IISR-CNC improve their public relations, and customer service. These
views are also to warn others what they might expect. If I was happy with
their service, I would have probably written a review of their software, and
even bought it.
