Solid state relays require somewhat resistive loads. Does your router have
an electronic speed control? It probably draws short current pulses, and
the SSR shuts off any time there is no current flowing. You could probably
put a "snubber" across the router, to help this
situation. It would be a capacitor and a resistor in series. These would
probably have to have a pretty large rating in this case, possibly .47 uF
and a 100 Ohm, 50 Watt.
