If you are cutting Acrylic, and you do not want problems with melting,
It is very hard to beat Antares "D-Blank" carbides. These are sharpened
into single flute bits. That is real important because of "drag" on the
plastic> which means unecessary heat. These cut Dry very well. People
who cut a lot of plastics use these.

They have a very good "Fact Sheet" section as well. Check it out.

Call them, tell them to sharpen one up for Acrylic, you'll be very happy.
