Very odd indeed.

do you have any memory managers or other DOS stuff running ?

you boot to DOS, not a Dow window ?

it seems like you might be suffering from some software overhead
problems. As T-CNC only needs a little memory it 'can' run in lower
ammounts, but when it comes to number crunching, it may be that the
CPU is sharing too much with something else.

Also, are the pauses repeatable ? if you can, post a section of the
code from _before_ the last good cut, continuning thru the cut after
the pause.
