I think that this will handle 1.25 amps continuous, 1.5 amps surge.
This is less than what your motor needs, unless you wish to run it at
1.25 amps (about half power). The large resistor in the common coil
lead to 20 volts limits the current. You will have to pick that value
for 1.25 amps steady state.

Each time the step input changes from high to low, the stepper
advances one step.

The clock input can be stopped in the 1 state, and the motor will hold
position.
