This is not an issue for me any more. My noise problems are gone. I
used a .1uF cap between err/res and enc-, and I added 100ohm resisters
in series with the err/res lines before I tied them together (as per
manufacturers suggestion). Problem solved. My mill is now up to 100ipm
and runs great. I have a 20mb avi movie for those with faster modems here
