Joe,
I bought one of the Oatley single axis boards on the claim of 80+ volts and
10+ amps. When I asked them for specific instructions on how to set things
up for 8 amps using an 80 volt power supply they said it would take major
modifications and offered to take the kit back for a full refund. It looks
like you have to replace all of the MOSSFETS, add heat sinks to everything
that carries any current and the amperage is controlled by resistors (it is
not a chopper driver) so you need some high watt resistors with heat sinks.
For small motors, it looked like an ok board.
