FlashcurCNC and close loop

I want to put together a "closed loop" cnc system. I have Gecko
drives G201 and stepper motors with encoders. I am considering the
FlashCutCNC 401A system which is a software and signal generator.
Will the above setup be enough and integrate well together to provide
a "close loop" cnc system? Right now, minitech at
http://www.minitech.com/software/flashcut/flashcut_info.htm
is offering the FlashCutCNC 401A for $800 on sale, normally $1100.
This is almost 30% off. But before buying it, I want to know if it
will fit my "close loop" needs. CamsoftCorp at
http://camsoftcorp.com/ is too expensive for "close loop" operation.
Thanks,
