RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] 8-wire stepper

Take a look at the stepper motor white paper on the www.Geckodrive.com
website. It does a great job of explaining the basics of stepper motors
particularly series and parallel connections. You did not mention it,
but I find that half coil is frequently the best compromise.
