For about the same money, you can get a little smaller kneee mill
from Harbor freight.
6" x 15" table travel, 7.68 on the knee and 2.75 on the quill.
seems like a smaller work envelope, but the dovetails on the knee are
interesting.
But, if you considdered the round column, all you really needs is a
home switch on the X and Y if you are not going to automate the
verticle and just the quill.
