Step & Direction to Phase Driver

Peter Homan has posted some information on the Taig group that he has
created a Step & Direction to Phase Driver conversion board for the
micro-proto system. Does anyone know if this is available as a
commercial product, or if there are others that might be available?

Next question, does it work with MaxNC or others that use phase
driver rather than step and direction?
