I may be particularly unintelligent or it may simply be that we do things
differently on this side of the pond but I get confused by the term NEMA
which many people use on this list. Can someone please educate me as to what
is meant by NEMA and where I can find any suitable references to convert
your system to ours? (Or perhaps you could just put in brackets what size
'Beezer' box you mean ;o) )

Sorry, I forget there are many guys across the pond. NEMA 1,4, 12,13,etc are
standards for how well a device can seal out the elements/real world. NEMA 1
enclosures are not dust or waterproof. They are strictly for indoor use.
NEMA 4 is a rain and washdown proof enclosure with a gasketed door. NEMA 12
is a certain style of rain proof enclosure. Fittings made for these
enclosures should have the same NEMA rating. Nema 12 must be close to IP55
type ratings. These are not for physical sizes, just types of enclosures.
