Jeff,
I think that would defeat his purpose. I've cut and used multiple lead
screws, and the screw advances by the pitch of one of the threads, for
example, if you use a 10 TPI, and cut 4 leads, it may look like 40 TPI, but
it effectively is a 10 TPI screw. I think he's looking for a screw with a
very fine adjustment.
