Re: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] freqmod, what is it?

I've only got what I read to figure out what freqmod is. And I'm confused.
I tried it with the CMD260 amps but the motors just rocked back and forth
one step. I had read that this freqmod is the latest & greates and so much
better than
steppermod. Then I read that is was for some special NOT step & dir amp used
on some Bridgports, and that it generates the 'wave' to a simple amp.
Is it used with step & dir type amps? If so what was the
rocking/oscillation
I experienced? some parm?
