I put together the chart for myself in order to help me understand how all
of the parts of my own system fit together.

The reason I decided to share my chart, was in response to the frequent
questions that are often posted asking how to get from design to finished
part. I wish I had such a chart when I started out.

I have labelled each section with the generic application or process names,
and then below that, placed the name of the software or hardware I happen
to be using below. You can cross out the products that I am currently
using and substitute your own applications in their place. I would
encourage you to do this.

The flow chart looks simple enought, but is very specific. as a
chart for Dolphin and Ahha it works, but what about AutoCAD or hand
coding ?


It is a great idea and it seems there ought to be one for machine
design too.
