One suggestion is to buy a standard consumer package like TurboCAD
3D for maybe $30 more or less from an internet mail order house and
attach it to freeware or shareware DXF to Gcode converter. Once
you're designing and making parts with that, you will develop a
fairly well defined opinion about your needs and who has a better
package - assuming this setup isn't sufficient. Charles Hixon
