I've got a program I wrote, MeshCAM, that can do that type of thing
along with machining STL files. It's a free unlimited beta right now
so there's no risk. www.robgrz.com/meshcam.phtml . Try it out and
let me know what you think; I'm still ready to make changes based on
user input.
