RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Inverse of G-code

Bill -

If you have access to a high tonnage press, you might just use a
slab of urethane as the "positive" die. I've worked on parts that
were formed this way in aluminum. The urethane acts like a fluid
to push the metal into the mold, and then returns to it's original
shape when done.

Subject: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Inverse of G-code

I have a Gcode file that makes a negative image for a die/mold
that I have
used to cast some ceramic tiles from. Now I would like to make
these same
forms in copper by using a press. No problem on making the
negative die but
the positive one is going to be a bit of trouble if I have to code
the thing
by hand.

Does anyone know of software or a technique that could be used to
"invert"
the G-code?

Many thanks in advance.

Bill
