1992 Centriforce licenses Bobcad Gold DOS(14) source, produces, and
ships a new application called Vector. The first Windows CadCam
program. Very successful in Europe. Sold in the USA by Wahoo.
1995-1997 Bobcad-Florida sells Both Bobcad DOS and Vector 6.0 to
provide a Windows Cad-Cam. Vector support is non-existant.
1996 IMService provides contract training and support for both Bobcad
and Vector.
1997 IMService is asked to provide ongoing suport for existing Vector
customers and new sales of Vector, approx 6 months after Bobcad
Florida stops selling Vector. This includes all English language
locales.
1998 Vector, On-line user support forum started. (yes it's all still
online and also archived to all Vector customer's distribution disks)
1998 March, Bobcad 17 ships.
1999 IMService supports CCED, including list member hobby discounts,
and advertising for new members.
2000 IMService drops all Bobcad product lines, and closes
alt.cad.bobcad support forum.
2001 Fred Smith of IMService is accused of and documented to be in
two places at once. Nobody knows if he (they) really exist or is
(are) simply a convenient web persona.
2002 Bobcad 18 ships, based on Vector 6.0, due to a loophole in Dutch
law.
Both products are now developed independently. None of the
enhancements to Vector since 1998 are in Bobcad. New Vector versions
are released every 6-18 months.
