Smid's book (CNC PRogramming Handbook) is absolutely excellent. It
assumes you are a machinist and know just about nothing about CNC. It

Currently I am looking at CNC programming Handbook by Peter Smid. Or CNC Programming Principals and Applications by Mike Mattson. Anyone have opinions about either of these two books, or any other recommendations?
