Does it do this only with the router motor running? Or, is it the
same, router on or off? If only with the motor running, it could
be electrical interference with the step signals to the Vexta drivers.
If there is any backlash in the coupling between the motor and the
moving parts, it can cause resonance problems to get much worse.
Possibly some setscrews just need tightening.
I hope one of these suggestions helps lead you to discover the problem.
