Home switches too? Sounds like the port pins on the parallel port
got an overload....bye, bye port pins.
You may have to spring for a plug-in parallel port but it can be
problematic with PCI buss machines on a DOS based machine. Either
you need to use a standard ISA buss slot (if you have one) and card
or find a PP that has DOS drivers and load them in the COnfig.sys
file on bootup.
Before you do anything you need to confirm how your limits are
connected. You might want to consider one of the buffered port cards
that will protect your internal parallel port.
