Hello,
Why keep screws at all? Maybe for z, but even there a brake is cheap.
Using screws on the y and z will slow your overall production; AND
likely raise your machine costs...
Are you going to use the long rasp/surform type cutter head? (I
designed a CNC surfboard cutter a few years back, and this was the
head my customer wanted to use.)

P.S. Brecoflex ARE nice. And expensive. But a gates HTD 5mm x 25
will do ya... (or the chain I mentioned earlier...)
