work as long as you have enough current on the parallel port to drive
the logic cleanly. But, if you are connecting the 2 motors to the same
leadscrew you will still have the problem of the motors fighting each
other as the chance of them moving 100% identical is about zero. If you
are driving 2 separate screws (like on a gantry with screws on both
sides) you will be OK except that you can not easily "square up" the
machine when driven from the same pin. If this is your installation a
program like Mach2 that lets you slave an axis in the software is a very
good solution.
