<I know this maybe simple for some but have patience with me, I'm
just getting started!! Can E me if prefer, Thanks, Seb.>

Many thanks to all who responded, I left out a few facts in my
original post but they were covered anyways! And as I learn how to
navigate around I will hopefully be able to answer my own questions
but occasionally I will need reasurance of my choice(s) being right!
My Jet Mill is of 9x48 BP size, planned to install ballscrews and
the work I will be doing is tinkering around with small engine parts,
making some money would be nice but not a requirment, maybe small
production runs but not time regulated..And I do have an eye open for
a used machine with cnc but so far have not found any close enough to
visit to inspect..$5000.00 or so I just can't do without touching,
nevermind shipping headaches..Now, a couple more questions!
1) servo motor--1840 ozin at 20 amps-68V/kRPM-seller says rutek
or gecko will handle--Yes?
2) comes with encoder-500 line/2000Counts/rev- ok with above
drives as long as reduction [if any used] is not more than 2:1 as the
drives will handle up to 1000/4000--Yes?
3) Drive power source recomendation?
4) Encoder needs 5v- at low enough so 5v power supply for radios
ect be ok?
5) Shielded wire necessary ?
6) I would like direction to pics/contact from those that have
experiance in a like retro...Thanks, Seb.
