EMC-installation

Hi out there!
I am trying to test the EMC-software, but I did not manage to install it
till now.
I am using a SuSE-Linux 6.3 (kernel 2.2.13) wich is running fine.
The RTL-patch is applied, too, and is running.
The instalation-script works for a while, then stops the compiling due to
some
errors. I am not certain that EMC runs on my SuSE-Linux, perhaps it only
works
on RedHat, perhaps only some includes are missing, perhaps it does not
compile without RT-Linux?
Anyone knows?
